BlaqTribe is a South African technology company and solutions house.
What we are
Not a web agency, a software agency, a marketing agency, an IT support company, a branding studio or a consultancy. Those capabilities exist here, brought together into one coherent practice, and the coherence is the point.
A client can enter through one problem and grow into a broader relationship. That is the business, and it only works if the first engagement was genuinely good.
Ownership
100% black-owned. South African. Registered, tax-compliant, with an ICT Sector EME sworn affidavit on file.
We state that once, accurately, where it is relevant. It is a fact about the company rather than a reason to hire it. The reason to hire it is the work.
What we hold to
These are constraints rather than values, in the sense that they cost us things.

We do not fabricate evidence
No invented clients, metrics, testimonials, awards, partnerships or certifications. Where we cannot show something, we say so. It costs us work and we accept that.

We name the trade-off
A recommendation with no stated cost is advertising. Every decision we hand over comes with what it gives up.

We build to be handed over
The engagement should leave you with capability you keep, and a system somebody else could maintain.

We say no clearly
A fast, respectful “we are not right for this” is worth more to you than three weeks of polite ambiguity.
Where we are
Built in Johannesburg. Our infrastructure is hosted in South Africa, deliberately, and we have written about why that costs more and why we do it anyway.
Who you would be working with
The company is small and deliberately so. You deal with the person doing the work.
